The following is a book on the history of Ancient India, written by Dr. Muhammad Isma’il al-Nadwi, a famed scholar of history and the Arabic language and a graduate of Nadwat al-‘Ulama in Lucknow, India. He taught for many years in Cairo and worked to translate Shibli Nu’mani’s Sirat al-Nabi into Arabic. Al-Hind al-Qadimah
