I’d like to add for the curious (Arabic) student that there is a nice new edition of The Beginning of Guidance on White Thread Press as previously translated and now partially edited by Mashad Allaf and Mufti Abdur Rahman Ibn Yusuf. Most of his books are in that site. Scroll down to “Ayahā al-wald al-muḥib” to find different copies of the book. Also, the site says that the Persian original of the book you are looking for is lost.
