The following book was shared by respected Shaykh Husain Kadodia. It is basically a compilation of places in Fayd al-Bari, ‘Allamah Anwar Shah al-Kashmiri’s lecture notes on Sahih al-Bukhari, where Kashmiri refutes opinions presented by Hafiz Ibn Hajar in his Fath al-Bari.
The book was compiled by Nasir ibn Sayf Nasir al-’Azari and presented as a Masters dissertation in Hadith at the University of Jordan in Amman. It contains Imam Kashmiri’s refutations that include criticism of statements on language, law, hadith interpretation, narrators, status of narrations, etc…
I thought it was fitting that I include a short video lecture by Shaykh Abu Yusuf Riyadh ul Haq and two links on Imam Al Kashmiri’s bio in this comment thread, so that western students of knowledge like my self can learn, know, and appreciate the intellectual brilliance and the amazing personality of the Imam.
